Orthodontist Dr. Jessica Kang in Silver Spring and Olney, MD

Dr. Jessica Kang is a native of the Northeast. Born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, she has also spent many years living in both Baltimore and Philadelphia.

Education

Dr. Kang attended Johns Hopkins University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies, graduating with honors. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was recognized for her academic excellence as a member of the Matthew Cryer Honors Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honors Society. Continuing her education at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Kang completed her residency and obtained her Certificate in Orthodontics. During her residency, she served as the chief resident and was honored with the Robert L. Vanarsdall Fellowship Award for Academic Excellence.

Outside the Office

When she’s not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Kang enjoys running, playing tennis, and discovering new restaurants with her fiancé.
